It is completely biodegradable and after disposal, it naturally biodegrades within 3 to 6 weeks. These plates are made from fallen leaves, and no chemicals or artificial materials are used. They do not even need commercial composting. You can just compost in your backyard and they release nutrients into the soil.
HEALTH AND SAFETY TESTING
It is non-toxic and free of any chemicals, lacquers, glues, bonding agents. No waxes or color dyes are used at any stage of production. Leaves are dried and heat compressed, so nothing that interfere with food taste. It is safe to store FARMBITES Natural Dinnerware in refrigerator or freezer. It is also safe for Microwave for up to 2 minutes on high and oven at 350degrees for up to 45 minutes.
